Digital advertising company Vibrant Media engages Parker, Wayne & Kent for strategic positioning and agenda setting
Vibrant Media has engaged Parker, Wayne & Kent’s public relations professionals to educate both brands and publishers of the value derived from placing contextually relevant adverts within the content of digital editorial and the innovations of Vibrant Media’s digital media experts.
Nearly 7000 premium publishers display Vibrant Media’s cross-platform rich media ad formats which sit nimbly and natively within contextually-relevant mobile and web content. The positioning of Vibrant’s formats within digital content means they optimise the viewability of brands’ ads and monetise publishers’ most valuable asset – the content. The launch of Vibrant Media’s cross-platform capabilities in April 2013 incorporated new technology that gives new levels of advertising transparency, consumer control and advertising effectiveness to digital advertising.
Brian Ahearne, Director of Parker, Wayne & Kent, said, “Vibrant Media is tackling some of the biggest issues facing the digital media industry. There is unsustainably high wastage in the ad spend status quo – comScore puts the amount of online ads that are never seen by consumers at 54 per cent. Publishers need to deploy more effective tools that drive more revenue from their sites to continue to pay for high quality editorial. Finally, although presenting a massive opportunity, consumers’ increasing consumption of content on mobile devices is posing severe challenges for ad effectiveness to brands. Working with Vibrant Media affords Parker, Wayne & Kent an influential role in addressing these challenges and shaping the digital media environment.”
Parker, Wayne & Kent will provide Vibrant Media with comprehensive public relations support, including but not limited
to: strategic consultancy on messaging, positioning and creative approaches; media training; social media video content generation; and media relations to generate incisive coverage of Vibrant’s work developing ad formats which perform for brands, respond to consumers and deliver revenue to publishers.
Helen Mussard, Marketing Manager at Vibrant Media said, “Parker, Wayne & Kent has an innate grasp of the issues facing the digital media industry, such as the need for ad formats that achieve consistency across multiple devices, that give consumers control, that demonstrate the value of editorial teams’ work and that optimise viewability for brands. Their experience in the technology, mobile and digital media sectors means they contribute genuine expertise to the positioning of Vibrant Media’s corporate personality and products. The journalistic flair that Parker, Wayne & Kent is adding to Vibrant Media’s content delivers an edge that their network of journalists and our clients respond to positively.”
